House artist 2026
Nyckelharpspop · 10th anniversary
Fredy Clue is the house artist of the jubilee festival. The Gothenburg-based artist has turned the nyckelharpa into a pop instrument, blending folk with pop and electronica. They are also the creator of Bäckadräkten, Sweden's first folk costume for everyone, regardless of gender, and bring both the music and the costume to Aarhus.

Together around the musicAarhus Folk Festival brings people together around live music in the heart of the city. A fiddle can fill a church room, a dance can fill the floor, and a simple tune can become something we share.
The festival is built on tradition, curiosity and the pleasure of being together. Come as you are. Listen, sing, dance, or bring your instrument. You do not need to know folk music already to feel at home here.
