In a special arrangement, Aarhus Folk Festival is including Turkis' own concert with Julia Bengtson and Geo Pjäserna in the programme. It is part of the warm-up day on Wednesday.
Julia Bengtson moves between Nordic folk music and modern Swedish pop. Her songs hold both vulnerability and strength, unease and presence, unfolding on stage as a personal story with room for the intimate and the expansive.
Geo Pjäserna are author and guitarist Rasmus Theisen, cellist Asbjørn Elle and drummer Jakob De Place. They play folk jazz driven by acoustic guitar, live interplay, cinematic melodies and a punk attitude, inspired by the landscape of Mols.
