Bring your baby to a concert at Skt. Lukas Kirke where babies and adults join in themselves. Rooted in folk music and hymns, we listen, sing, dance and explore together in the church's spacious interior.

The concert is for children aged 0–24 months accompanied by parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles. We take off our outdoor shoes, sit on the floor and dance in the aisles, so bring indoor shoes or non-slip socks for children and adults, as the church floor is slippery.

The music begins with babies' sensory world and movement, drawing on ancient hymns, new compositions and playful folk songs. It is not about singing or playing perfectly, but about being present and exploring voices, music and small instruments together with your child.

Accordionist Jesper Vinther Petersen is known from bands including Phønix. Maria Louise Bøg Sørensen is a minister and cultural coordinator at the church with many years of experience in baby hymn singing and children’s folk dance. They lead the concert together for the third year running.
