Jesper Vinther Petersen

Music, dance and traditions from baby concerts to folk balls

Jesper Vinther Petersen has played accordion throughout his life and is known from bands including Phønix and Jydsk På Næsen. He trained on the conservatory's folk music programme and passes music, dance and traditions on through school concerts, teaching, concerts and folk balls.

In Phønix his accordion joins clarinet, percussion and voice. With Maria Louise Bøg Sørensen, Jesper also introduces folk music to the very young through baby concerts where children and adults sing, dance and play along.
