Copenhagen trio Cheap Jeep are the sound of three musical wolves who found one another somewhere between the Tasmanian wilderness, the Appalachian slopes of North Carolina, country capital Nashville and Copenhagen's inner neighbourhoods.
With resonator guitar, mandolin, double bass, three-part vocal harmonies and strong lyrics, the trio create an acoustic americana world of their own. It is rooted in folk, bluegrass and country while remaining fearlessly experimental and unconcerned with genre boundaries or musical trends.
The trio is Tom Dockray, Rick Hauchman and Mads Bendsen. Their debut album “Weather Lady” was released on 18 September 2026, just before the festival.
