Irish song workshop with Nuala Kennedy & Eamon O’Leary
Sing along and discover what gives Irish singing its sound, before the evening’s intimate concert
The workshop is not part of the festival’s official programme, and your festival pass does not apply here. A ticket including workshop, dinner and concert is 330 kr, or 200 kr for under-25s, with a member discount, bought from Roots Aarhus together with the concert ticket. At the door, Roots Aarhus takes MobilePay only.
Before the concert, Nuala Kennedy and Eamon O’Leary lead a workshop in Irish songs. You get to sing along and learn a little about what gives Irish singing its vocal sound, and about the stories behind the songs.
After the workshop, a vegetarian dinner is served, included in the price. Places are very limited.
The workshop belongs to the Wednesday warm-up day and is arranged by Roots Aarhus, leading into the evening’s intimate concert with the two musicians.
