Det Lyse Bal is an evening of both group dances and partner dances, with music tailored to the steps and turns, picked from the Danish treasure chest of folk dances. The ball presents newly composed and newly arranged folk music for string quintet and percussion.
Henrik fra Stevns and Nordisk Dans Aarhus lead the dance workshop together before the ball begins. Henrik also guides the audience through the ball in collaboration with Nordisk Dans Aarhus, so you can join in whether you have danced all your life or never tried before.
