In a special arrangement, Aarhus Folk Festival is including turkis' own concert with Julia Bengtson and Geo Pjäserna in the programme. It is part of the warm-up day on Wednesday.
At turkis, Geo Pjäserna are joined by guest drummer Jakob De Place. The duo of Rasmus Theisen on guitar and Asbjørn Elle on cello becomes a trio for this evening.
Geo Pjäserna open with intense folk jazz, cinematic melodies and dynamic interplay inspired by Mols. Julia Bengtson follows with her blend of Nordic folk and Swedish pop in personal songs that make room for both vulnerability and strength.
